The MasterChef Experience

Hey people, So my time on the show is over. The entertainment business is something else!!!! I can say it was alot of fun, I met some great people who all share the love of food and creativity. But at any rate let's get down to some Q and A.

Q. What did you cook?
A. Shrimp and chicken etoufee'

Q. How many "No" did you get and from which judges?
A. I got one No from Joe( of course)

Q. Did you get an apron?
A. YEP I DID!!!!

Q.Would you do it again?
A. Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q. What happened with the apple challenge?
A. Who has that kind of time? LOL. Yes I can chop an apple, with a knife not a razor. I need these fingers.

Q. What's next?
A. I'm a woman of infinite possibility and I'm not sure where this will take me, but I know I'm closer.

All things happen for a reason, and with that being said the longer you are there, the more business side you begin to see. It's all for TV and apparently TV likes me and I like it!!!! See ya'll on the next show/movie.... Bigger and better things to come.

Today I was on the news....

This is really beginning to be a great journey.
I'm grateful for every tear and smile that has gotten me here.
Life is not always pleasant but it is what it is, with that being said persistence pays off.
I'm from a small town of 400 people, no stop lights, just a little piece of the country.
I have dreams and I'm so grateful things are coming into fruition.
Praise is an accessory to faith and the two together make an amazing outfit!!!!

Today is my television debut...

I'm excited and nervous. I will answer all questions and address all comments on this page. I will also post recipes here. Please note that most of these recipes will be simple because I teach to children. I can cook!!! Let's experience a new day together. My dream was always to make it to TV... I have to get a movie deal and a TV show out of this one. (LOL) I don't know my destination but the journey... has changed me, for the better, for the worse, for life. I live it with no apologies or excuses for seeking happiness. The one thing I've learned is "Trust and believe that all dreams come true through trials and pursuit!"  Let's make it an amazing day.

In the beginning....

Im so glad I made it to MasterChef's top 100!!!!

3 years ago I moved to Dallas on a prayer and the faith that it was the right thing to do.
It hasn't been the most pleasurable of journey's but it's like what Granny would say " You gotta dig through the dookie to get the diamond."
I've had my share of the ups and downs and this has truly been a ride.
I'm grateful for every tear and smile... they were all significant in getting me here closer to my destiny!!!
